Simon Wakefield is the Class AA PGA Qualified Professional based at Ellesmere Golf Club Worsley Manchester. Simon has been involved in golf for over30 years, he has been witness to the evolvement of the game from the strict Members Only generation, to the sport becoming the biggest participated sport in the UK.
During this period of time he as gained a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of the game, from being a tournament player, to well respected coach who as worked with raw beginners to the most advanced tournament professionals, Simon has held various posts throughout his career from, Assistant Professional, Club Professional, Golf Director & Course Manager and he has also enjoyed spells in Taiwan & Australia.
Simon returned to Ellesmere Golf Club in March 2005, he now plies his trade at this superb facility, which as the benefit of a 300 yard practice ground and 3 excellent short game areas.
With the benefit of the above facilities Simon can help you iron out any problems you may have with your game, in addition to his standard coaching, Simon says playing lessons with course management and putting lessons are as equally popular.
